22nd of JUNE. ON WOOLACOMBE BEACH

We don't really know why English people are always complainting about the weather because here it is always sunny!!! (No sabemos por que los ingleses siempre se quejan de su clima porque aqui siempre hace sol!!!)

Even we had to put on sun cream...,though some of us are going to come back to Spain a little bit red . (Incluso tenemos que echarnos crema solar..., aunque algunos van a volver un poco rojitos).

Today we went to Woolacombe beach. We went walking by a wonderful path around the coast. (Hoy hemos ido a la playa de Woolacombe. Hemos ido dando un paseo por un camino precioso alrededor de la costa).

Most of our students were inside the sea... it was little cold but they are young and strong!! (La mayoria de los alumnos se metieron al agua... estaba un poco fria pero son jovenes y fuertes!!).

In the evening, we went to DJ's pub to play pub games. (Por la noche fuimos al DJ's bar para jugar a juegos de pub).

AT WEEKEND

After a really hard week, we deserved a relax weekend. We had free time to spend with the families and do some activities around Ilfracombe. (Despues de una semanita bastante dura, nos mereciamos un fin de semana de relax. Hemos tenido tiempo libre para estar con las familias y hacer algunas cosillas por Ilfracombe)

We visited the Acuarium. (Hemos vistado el Acuario).

We stayed at the Green Hill, of course. (Hemos estado en la Colina Verde, por supuesto).

We had a typical English hot chocolate, and sandwiches in a terrace. (Hemos tomado un tipico chocolate caliente ingles y sandwiches en una terraza).

BARBECUE AT THE SCHOOL

On Friday night we had a barbecue at the school. (El viernes por la noche tuvimos barbacoa en el colegio)

After finishing off all the hamburgers, we went to the park near the school. All the students want to get a better mark in physical education, so everyday they practice some sports to butter Maria Jesus up. (Despues de acabar con todas las hamburguesas, fuimos al parque al lado del colegio. Todos los alumnos quieren sacar mejor nota en Educacion Fisica, asi que todos los dias hacen un poco de deporte para hacerle la pelota a Maria Jesus (aunque no lo consiguen mucho...)).

Even they danced Sevillanas and "La Macarena"!!! very strong. (Incluso bailaron unas sevillanas y la Macarena!!! mu fuerte)

19th of JUNE. OCEAN FEST.

Today, we went to the Ocean Fest, a surf & music festival in Croyde, a beach near Ilfracombe. Here, our students took part in lots of activities (Hoy, hemos ido al Ocean Fest, un festival de surf y musica en Croyde, una playa cercana a Ilfracombe. Aqui, nuestros alumnos han participado en muchas actividades)

They had to compete against students from other countries. (Tuvieron que competir contra estudiantes de otros paises)

After coating in sand and a big effort, our Maria Jose won in the girls' team!!! (Despues de rebozarnos en arena y de un gran esfuerzo, nuestra Maria Jose gano en el equipo de las chicas)

After the activities on the beach, we went into the Ocean Fest. The students showed their skills in different areas. (Despues de las actividades en la playa, entramos al Ocean Fest. Los alumnos demostraron sus habilidades en diferentes campos).

Playing videogames. (Jugando a videojuegos).

Juggling with balls, diabolos... ready to be circus stars. (Haciendo malabares con pelotas, diabolos... preparados para ser estrellas de circo).

Also there were cycling and skating shows (Tambien hubo exhibiciones de monopatin y bicicleta).

But our students were only the audience. (Pero los alumnos fueron solamente los espectadores).
